Davis Frost Inc
Davis Paint was founded in 1938 by James T. Davis, Sr. when he opened a single store in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. In 1966 property was purchased on Candler's Mountain Road and in 1967 a new paint manufacturing facility was built. In 1995 Davis Paint was acquired by Cal and Denise Henning and their business partner David Boie. Davis Paints are manufactured by Davis- Frost Inc.
Davis-Frost Inc. is considered a regional paint manufacturer and out of all the regional paint manufacturers is considered one of the best.
Davis Paint architectural finishes are sold through independently owned paint stores in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Davis Paint is an integral part of and an active member of the Color Guild which is comprised of more than 55 independent paint manufacturers from 14 different countries and is dedicated to the marketing, promotion and selling of paint products.
