Mid America Protective Coatings

Established in 1972 Mid America is a leader in developing high end environmentally friendly industrial coatings for the wood, plastic, and metal coatings. Starting out a solvent based lacquer company Mid America decided to focus on Waterbase coatings in the early ’80s. This allowed us to grow our business to two manufacturing locations both located in the Chicagoland area. In the mid 90’s we decided to focus on UV coatings.

It is the goal of Mid America to give all our customers the best products and service available while keeping in mind the environment. We will custom manufacture a coating to meet the specific needs of our customers. As a medium-size manufacturer, we are able to think outside the box and really focus on what is the best product for a customer.
